How Much Astigmatism For Fulltime Wear?

What amount of astigmatism means that it is more comfortable to wear glasses all the time? I heard it’s quite a low level like .5 or .75, is that true?

    There really isn’t a set amount .
Some people are very sensitive to the change a 0.50 can make in their vision, while others feel just fine without wearing a correction much higher than that.
I know plenty who have up to a 2.50 astigmatism correction and only wear them for certain activities, such as TV or driving at night.
Other people can have as little as 0.50 or 0.75 and really don’t feel comfortable without it.
Some people have a higher tolerance for the blur, and it doesn’t bother them.

Astigmatism means your eye is oval. it usually is about .75. If your vision is -3 and your astigmatism .75 Them you eye would be -3.75
I had laser surgery and don’t wear contacts, or eyeglasses anymore. I love it and would never go back to the way I was.
