Is It True That Astigmatism Can Be Cured?
Sunday, December 27th, 2009I read somewhere on the web that states astigmatism can be corrected with glasses.
Does this mean after I wear the glass for a certain amount time my eyes will be better?

Does astigmatism only affect reading close up like computer or books? Also can they make reading glasses like drug store ones, but to fix astigmatism too?
I have already tried Acuvue with hydraclear for astigmatism, they were the worst contacts i have ever tried.
HELP! i’m tired of my glasses and i can’t afford lasik…well, i’m not even a good candidate anyway.
Ok, i have naturally freakishly green eyes, i am looking at getting coloured contacts, but i have an astigmatism, do the make them for that?
Is it better for me to get glasses or contacts? If my astigmatism gets worse and I get it in my right eye, should I get contacts?
I am 20 years old and have had high myopia and astigmatism my entire life. Recently I have started to use marijuana recreationally but it seems to better my vision at distances and I heard it can relieve pressures of the eye, which I happen to have a ridiculous amount of pressure in my eye with extensive stress on my retna. I would like to know if Medical Marijuana would be a legitimate way for me to go about treating my vision problems.
I I have a little astigmatism in my right eye but I want to know how they know it’s astigmatism and not just myopia. Is there like a chart or do they literally observe your cornea and determine your axis and power from that?
What amount of astigmatism means that it is more comfortable to wear glasses all the time? I heard it’s quite a low level like .5 or .75, is that true?
I need to know if they are able to stay moisture rich, oxygen rich, no slide around, not feel uncomfortable and how much they cost for astigmatism just above the legal limit for lasix surgery?
My left eye has an astigmatism while my right eye is nearly perfect. This often leads me to focusing only with my dominant right eye having to actually think about it to focus with both. Everyone has a dominant eye to some extent, but might an extremer than usual difference give an individual below par depth perception?
