Is It Normal For Color Contacts To Block Your Eyesight?

i just bought color contacts yesterday. i have perfect vision but i wanted to change my eye color to green. i love how they look except when i put them in they irritate my eyes. that might just be because its the first time wearing contacts but they also seem to make my vision blurry and limited. maybe the contact covers part of my pupil but i can live with it. i can still see, but just a little blurry. will it not harm my eyes if i wear them for a month?

  1. Baby says:

Yes this is normal with colored contact lenses and will not harm your eyes in any way. Often your pupil will be bigger than the clear bit on the colored lens and so you end up looking though part of the colored bits of the lens. This causes blurred vision.
If you are happy to put up with the blur then it will cause no harm to your eyes, its just a little annoying at times

The blurry vision will probably not hurt you eyes but the irritation might. Soft contact lenses when properly fit should be comfortable.
