well….. i dunno what to say.
i heard the perspective of two people who had this surgery done here on youtube…. the opinions are quite opposed. but even tho i’m really bored of my brown eyes, i don’t think i’d do this. having to use eye drops for the rest of my life and the whole crappy recovery time…. it doesn’t seem worth it. not to me at least. besides, this IS risky. i’d rather use contacts… i don’t have 10.000$ anyway. if i did, i’d rather spend them on something else.

it is different because the complications are horrific….you have to use the eye drops everyday for the rest of your life, there is constant swelling..and redness and pain!…with dying hair you can dye it back or stop dying its painless and fun..tanning beds and sun? if you stop your natural color comes back… besides tanning is a natural reaction of the skin…even gardening can give you a tan. and with plastic surgery um this is plastic surgery…don’t do it people regret it..

This eye prodcedure is not FDA approved by no means and is a technically new procedure. It has not been here long enough to have been documented on how the implants effect the eye after years or decades.
If your not ashamed of your brown eyes – then there is no reason to permanently change them. You can just wear brown and amber contacts.

That looks very fake. The Iris is now one solid colour, eyes are not like that, they are combigned of different shades. The colour looks dull and resembles blue water colour paint in a glass jar, JUST DULL. WHY???
Funny how no one gets brown. More internalized Eurocentric standards of beauty. I love my brown eyes because God gave them to me. Don’t know what’s so great about having something recessive and sun sensitive anyway. (0_o)

mine are brown with a slight green ring around them (my dad & my great grandpa have green eyes)

A solid piece of material that blocks out the area around the pupil so not only does your pupil’s dilation to allow more light in in dark conditions no longer have any effect, you’re also nullifying an important part of human body language in the widening or contracting of the pupils.
But hey your eyes are a different colour. That’s all the matters, right? I mean people might not be able to read your eyes anymore but at least they’ll be able to appreciate how weirdly artificial they look.

Hmmm…. I don’t agree with this. To me the eyes are the one feature of a person that should never change. Mostly because they help you understand people and it’s one of the first things that people notice. I have really dark brown eyes (almost black) and wouldn’t change them for the world!
