wow! i didn’t know anything like that exist! i’ll admit, i used to rock the Fresh Look Gray contacts back in jr. high/high school. they looked natural on me. i was already “high yella”, had long hair, then gray contacts…everybody thought the color was natural. THEN i went to college and found myself!! i haven’t worn the contacts since. i still find beauty in blue/green/gray/hazel eyes on ppl who are born w/them. but thats just another kind of beauty. i found that brown is beautiful too!!!

This is crazy.. i don’t wanna do this to myself.. i love my eyes.. its light brown naturally like that.. and my husband also have the same color of his eyes..

  3. salwalishis911k says:

i would rather wear eye contact that mess up with my eyes.. just as different looks..

  4. seygra20 says:

crazy …i dont get it either any surgery with the eye is rsiky

  5. coolbeens21 says:

Are there contacts that will improve your vision that you can get implanted?

  6. RedOrchird20 says:

You are NOT even suppose to sleep with contacts why would you implant them into your eye permanently???
Moreover, why is everyone trying to mess with want God gave them? The Most High does not make mistakes.
Rather than just trying to change ourselves with extreme means, trying to look like everyone else, why not except our uniqueness?

Hey…i’m a new subscriber and i love ur videos. It’s funny u discussed this issue. About a week ago, i was watching this show called the drs. and they touched on this very subject. They had a guest who had the surgery, in Panama, that had his eye color changed from brown to blue. It looked natural because he was caucasian. There was also another guest, a doctor, who said it was not necessary and could lead to terrible health issues. he also touch on the problems associated with these implants.

I Kindof Figured That You Were Going To Say That The Baby Had The Procedure ..
Them Eyes Look Fake & He Looks Scary .. Poor Baby ! His Mother Should Be Ashame ..

    thanks so much for subscribing=)
yes people need to seriously do their research before flying to panama to get this done, that white man on the show is mark he is an actor, I truly do not believe that he went through with this surgery,
I believe he and dr. khan and con artisit.

the baby’s eyes are naturally blue he was born that way, both of his parents are black and DO NOT have blue eys, genetics are a trip you never know how your kids will come out.
once again Loren the baby DID NOT have the iris implant surgery=)

  11. budgetqueenMD says:

I saw that same show, and given the risks, I say just wear color contacts.

  12. imaeh1 says:

well, first thank you for your videos, I really enjoy them :^)
    and 2nd..
When I was younger i wanted blue eyes, and I got older that feeling stayed in the back of my mind. I’m still kind of young, so I wanted to take my time to decide if I should do it, but LaTerra’s video convinced me not to. It’s taken me a minute, but it helped me realize that I’m beautiful with my brown eyes. And it’s like if he wanted me to have a different eye color, I would have been born with it, you know?

  13. sexy2lvrn says:

My family eyes are naturally blue and they are different shades of skin tones from dark to light…my nephew has blue eyes like my grandfather…but honestly I am glad that people have learned to love themselves. I haven’t heard of the procedure but I wouldn’t recommend it, it just sounds to risky..peaceandluv

I really don’t care it’s their body, but i am more than pleased with my natural eye color.

  15. solidice242 says:

sight is too important to be taking this kinda risk no one working on these eyes

  16. sstupidssmile says:

I actually heard about this surgery on The doctors around March or April. I personally think it’s stupid, like really… at least wear coloured contacts which are a lot safter and are removable! I have seen black people with green eyes, hazel eyes, etc, but that’s THEIR eye colour, they didn’t have to go under a knife to get it. and I personally don’t think they are selling out because they want to wear coloured contacts. White ppl tan, are they sell outs? If u wear make-up, are u a sell out?

  17. Unekwu89 says:

what?! 7000 dollars to scratch up my retina and go blind….

    WOW No THX

  18. Unekwu89 says:

Forgive me for judging. But this is just crazy if they liked blue so much they could just wear contacts… I commend them for putting the word out there and being examples for ppl looks to do this but damn all that pain and money could have been saved….

  19. naturalbornqueen says:

My brother has very light blue eyes naturally. My cousin does too. Niether one of my parents have blue eyes, but my great grandfather did. Black people’s eyes while majority are dk brown is not limited to just brown.

Thanks for putting this out Sis! Very well done.

  20. DariceHumphries says:

Hazel or green for me but if I want that I will get contacts.

  21. DariceHumphries says:

She did not really want the color they said it would be subtle. It’s just like fake hiar there is a very small variety of natural texture weave so light brown, hazel and brownish green are not considered pretty so her options were like blue, violet or other costume looking colors.

  22. Chrissystina22 says:

agreed…except for that “white people tan to look like us” example.
White people tan to look like tyra banks, not alek wek.

  23. pinkaddiction13 says:

hey ti!!!! i saw this on mediatakeout and was shocked that this really exists. i heard about it a couple years ago but didnt know it REALLY existed.

i really hate when people only use black people for self hate. what about caucasian women like ice t’s wife coco? i sure dont see people saying ” she hates being white she wnts to be black what a sell out how self hating”

  24. imtang0708 says:

That girl was GORGEOUS with brown eyes! The blue eyes made her look creepy!!!

  25. ayamejoy says:

$7000 that’s it? I know a bunch of people that would do that. I think people assume she didn’t “feel pretty” but what if she just wanted to change her look? Permanent make-up is ok, but changing an eye color isn’t? People do all sorts of body modifications. Burn a scalp for straight hair, Bleed for tattoos, poisonous nail polish or make-up, etc. I think people that call her stupid are hypocrites, because EVERYONE does some kind of body modification daily, but then look down on her.
